The Distance Between Galaxies Is Worse Than You Think

For the closest ones, the answer is already almost unimaginable. At Voyager 1’s speed, even nearby galaxies require billions of years. But keep travelling outward and something stranger happens. Eventually, the numbers stop getting larger because the journey becomes impossible. In this documentary, we travel from the Magellanic Clouds and Andromeda to the Virgo Cluster and finally to the cosmic boundary beyond which even a light-speed spacecraft leaving Earth today could never arrive. The reason is not simply distance. Space itself is expanding. As that expansion accelerates, more galaxies cross beyond the region we could ever physically reach. Today, only a small fraction of the observable Universe remains accessible even in principle. The Universe is much larger than the part of it we could ever visit. And that reachable part is getting smaller. -- DISCUSSIONS & SOCIAL MEDIA Commercial Purposes: insanecuriositybusiness@gmail.com Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@insanecuriosity Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/user/insanecuriosity Instagram: https://instagram.com/insanecuriositythereal Twitter: https://twitter.com/insanecurio Facebook: https://facebook.com/InsaneCuriosity Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/insane-curiosity-46b928277/ Our Website: https://insanecuriosity.com/ -- Credits: Ron Miller, Mark A.
