Cookie declaration
Vacilando.org uses a small number of cookies and a local browser-storage item. It also includes services that may set their own cookies. Which cookies are used depends on the page you visit and whether you sign in.
Cookies used for all visitors
Every page uses two Vacilando.org session cookies, __Host-next-auth.csrf-token and __Secure-next-auth.callback-url. They support the security and return path of the optional sign-in system and are removed when the browser session ends.
Every page also stores nextauth.message in the browser's local storage. It is not a cookie; it synchronizes sign-in status between browser tabs and remains until the site's browser data is cleared.
The site uses Plausible for anonymous traffic measurement. Plausible does not set analytics cookies. See the Plausible data policy.
Cookies used only on some pages
Some pages include content or functionality supplied by third parties. Those services may set cookies when their content loads or when you interact with it. Pages without the relevant service do not load its cookies.
- Google and YouTube: video embeds, maps, and reCAPTCHA on the contact page.
- SoundCloud: embedded audio players.
- Wikimedia and other external providers: remotely hosted images or embedded content.
These providers control the names and lifetimes of their cookies, which can change over time. Their cookies may remember preferences, deliver embedded content, provide security, or measure use of that content.
Cookies used only for authenticated users
After a successful sign-in, Vacilando.org uses a secure session-token cookie to keep you authenticated. The Google sign-in process also uses temporary verification cookies and Google may set cookies on its own sign-in pages. These additional cookies are not used for visitors who remain signed out.
You can remove or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Doing so may prevent sign-in or third-party embeds from working correctly.
