Afghanistan
Afghanistan is a landlocked country located in South and Central Asia, bordered by Pakistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and China. Its capital and largest city is Kabul. Afghanistan has a diverse ethnic composition, including Pashtuns, Tajiks, Hazaras, and Uzbeks. The country has a rich history, serving as a crossroads of ancient trade routes and empires. In recent decades, Afghanistan has experienced prolonged conflict and political instability. Its official languages are Pashto and Dari. Afghanistan’s terrain is largely mountainous, with the Hindu Kush range dominating the landscape.
