If you, like me, at some point hesitated whether to continue watching the otherwise excellent series Marco Polo on Netflix, then I think your last episode must have been "Hug" (S2E2). It's original just as the rest of the series, but the key twist is unexpected, and the emotions it unleashes are almost unbearable. In the end I did watch the full series though. It's a masterful artwork based on a rich historical background that is still too unknown or idealized in the Western world. What a pity the production was eventually cancelled. Still hoping somebody equally able will pick it up again one day, and that the crew and cast will follow.
