TrailScout

Example of a breadcrumb trailExample of a breadcrumb trail

TrailScout - the intuitive breadcrumb system for Drupal - simply showing the last few recently visited pages.

A Drupal 5 module with functionality similar to Clickpath for Drupal 6.

It is intuitive because it does not try to show you the position of this page in any hierarchy; it only shows you your navigational history, the breadcrumbs you have been dropping...

Basically it displays a breadcrumb path of the last N page titles that you have visited. The current page does not show in the breadcrumb (because it's presumably prominent elsewhere on the page). All titles are linked to their pages. Reloading the same page does not add a new crumb.

At the configuration page (admin/settings/trailscout) you can set the maximum number of breadcrumbs, the maximum length of each link description (closest word ending respected), and exclude any number of page titles. A breeze to install and run; try it out (just don't forget to enable user access permissions).
